- Every connection to rext.ai and app.rext.ai is encrypted with HTTPS.
- Passwords are stored only as bcrypt hashes, never as text.
- The keys that connect your WordPress site are encrypted in our database.
- Card details never reach us: our payment partner, the merchant of record, takes the payment.
- Messages from the payment partner about your subscription are accepted only with a valid signature.

How your data is protected
Where Rext AI runs
The app and its databases run on servers we manage at Hetzner. The website rext.ai is hosted by Vercel, and its own database is at Hetzner in Helsinki, Finland. The subprocessor list names every company that handles data for us.
Who can do what in your workspace
- Each member has a role (owner, admin, editor or viewer), and publishing needs its own permission.
- An audit log records the actions taken in your account, and is kept for a year.
- You can see your active sessions and sign them out; a session left unused for 7 days ends by itself.
- New accounts confirm their email address before they can sign in.
Watching for problems
Errors in the app are reported to us as they happen, so we can fix them, and error reports are deleted after 90 days.
What we do not have yet
We have no SOC 2 or ISO 27001 report, and sign-in does not yet offer a second factor. When either changes, this page will say so.
Reporting a security problem
If you find a vulnerability, write to contact@rext.ai with “Security” in the subject and the steps to reproduce it. Please do not access other people's data, disrupt the service, or make the problem public before we have fixed it. We will not take action against research done in good faith under these rules.
