Privacy
Rext AI is a product and service run by Revnix LLC ("Revnix," "Rext AI," "we," "us," or "our"). We built Rext AI to help agencies, marketers, publishers, and content teams research topics, produce SEO-focused content, build out brand and author intelligence, and publish that content through connected platforms.
This policy walks through what information we collect, why we collect it, how we share it, how we keep it safe, and what choices you have when it comes to your own data.
It covers rext.ai, the Rext AI platform, the tools built around it, and any conversations you have with our team.
By using Rext AI, you're agreeing to have your information handled the way this policy describes. Where the law requires us to get your consent for something specific, we'll ask for it separately.
1. Who We Are
Rext AI is operated by Revnix LLC.
Under most data protection laws, Revnix LLC is the data controller for the personal information that flows through Rext AI, except in cases where we're processing data on a customer's behalf as a service provider.
If you have questions you can talk to Rext AI team on : support@rext.ai
2. What We Collect
What we collect depends on how you're using the platform.
Information you hand over directly
Setting up or running a Rext AI account usually means sharing things like:
- Your name
- Email address
- Login and account details
- Company or organization information, if you choose to share it
- Subscription and billing information
- Whatever you tell our support team when you reach out
Using the content and SEO side of the platform brings in a different set of inputs, including:
- Keywords and topics
- Brand voice details
- Author or writer persona information
- Prompts and instructions
- Drafts, outlines, and any other content you submit
- Website or business details
- SEO and content-related data
If you email us or reach out through another support channel, we hold on to whatever's in that message, including any attachments.
3. WordPress and Other Integrations
Rext AI lets you connect your account to WordPress so you can publish directly.
Once you connect WordPress or another supported integration, we may handle authentication details, access tokens, API credentials, website information, and the content needed to make that integration work.
We only use this information as far as reasonably necessary to keep the integration running and to carry out the actions you ask for. It's on you to make sure you're authorized to connect any website, CMS, or third-party service to Rext AI.
4. Payments
Payments and subscriptions run through Lemon Squeezy.
At Rext AI, your payment information is collected and processed directly by Lemon Squeezy, and we don't intentionally collect or store your full card number ourselves.
We may get limited billing and transaction details back from our payment provider, things like subscription status, transaction records, billing country, and whatever else is needed to manage your account. Payment processing also falls under Lemon Squeezy's own terms and privacy practices.
5. Cookies and Similar Tools
We use cookies and similar technologies to run our website and app, keep your session going, understand how the product is used, measure performance, and support marketing efforts.
Depending on how you interact with Rext AI, these may come from:
- Google Analytics
- Google Tag Manager
- PostHog
- Meta
Some cookies are essential to keeping the service running securely. Others exist purely for analytics or marketing. Wherever the law requires consent before setting non-essential cookies, we'll ask first through the appropriate mechanism.
You can also manage cookies yourself through your browser settings, though turning off certain ones may affect how well Rext AI works for you.
6. Who Helps Us Run Rext AI
We rely on some outside companies to keep Rext AI running. These providers may process information on our behalf to help with things like:
- Cloud hosting and infrastructure
- AI processing
- Email delivery
- Error monitoring
- Analytics
- SEO and web research
- Payment processing
- Security
- Customer support
- Anything else needed to keep the platform operating
Right now, that list includes:
- OpenAI – AI-powered functionality
- Hetzner – cloud infrastructure and hosting
- Coolify – deployment and infrastructure management
- Resend – email delivery
- Sentry – error monitoring and diagnostics
- Tavily – web research and search functionality
- DataForSEO – SEO and search-related data
- PostHog – product analytics
- Google Analytics – website analytics
- Google Tag Manager – tag management
- Meta – marketing and advertising technologies
- Lemon Squeezy – payments and subscriptions
This list may change as Rext AI evolves. We choose providers we believe are fit for the job and require them to handle your data in line with applicable legal and contractual standards. Where it makes sense, we may keep a more detailed record of our providers and subprocessors separately.
7. How We Share Your Information
We don't sell your personal information.
That said, we do share it in a handful of situations:
Service providers – Vendors that help us run Rext AI (hosting, AI processing, analytics, payments, email, security, error monitoring) may need access to parts of your data to do their jobs.
Integrations – When you publish through an integration like WordPress, we send the relevant content and authentication information to that platform so the action you asked for actually happens.
Legal requirements – We may share information when we reasonably believe it's necessary to comply with the law, a legal process, or a government request; to protect the rights, property, or safety of Rext AI, our users, or others; to investigate fraud, abuse, or security incidents; to enforce our agreements; or to respond to a legitimate legal request.
Business transactions – If Revnix LLC or Rext AI goes through a merger, acquisition, financing, reorganization, or sale of assets, your information may transfer as part of that deal, subject to applicable law.
8. How Long We Hold On to Data
We keep information for as long as it's reasonably needed to run Rext AI, maintain your account, deliver the services you've asked for, meet legal or regulatory obligations, resolve disputes, enforce our agreements, catch fraud or security issues, and protect our legitimate business interests.
Once we no longer need something, we'll delete it, anonymize it, or dispose of it in line with our internal practices and the law. Some data may linger in backups or archives for a short while after deletion before it's fully wiped.
9. Data Security
At Rext AI, we believe in making customers' data leakproof and fully secure, so we follow every necessary step that makes your data protected from unauthorized access and alteration. That includes access controls, authentication, encryption where it makes sense, monitoring, infrastructure safeguards, and other protections suited to the type of data involved.
10. Moving Data Across Borders
Rext AI and the providers we work with may operate in countries other than your own, which means your information could end up processed in the United States or elsewhere, in places with different data protection standards than where you live.
Wherever the law requires safeguards for these transfers, we put appropriate legal and contractual protections in place.
11. Privacy Rights
At Rext AI, we respect your privacy rights and ensure your privacy is protected. But keep in mind that depending on your location, you may be entitled to specific rights regarding the personal data, including the right to:
- Access the information we hold about you
- Correct anything inaccurate
- Ask us to delete your personal information
- Restrict certain processing
- Object to certain processing
- Request a portable copy of your data
- Withdraw consent where processing depends on it
- Opt out of certain marketing messages
- File a complaint with a data protection authority
To exercise any of these, reach out to support@rext.ai. We may need to confirm your identity first, just to keep your data safe from unauthorized requests, and we'll respond within whatever timeframe the law requires.
European Economic Area, United Kingdom, and Switzerland
If you are located in the European Economic Area, United Kingdom, or Switzerland, you may have additional rights under applicable data protection laws, including the GDPR or equivalent local legislation.
Where required, we will identify the applicable legal basis for processing your personal information and provide additional information concerning your rights.
You may also have the right to lodge a complaint with your local data protection or supervisory authority.
California Residents
If you are a California resident, you may have additional rights under applicable California privacy laws, including the California Consumer Privacy Act, as amended by the California Privacy Rights Act.
Subject to applicable legal requirements, these rights may include the right to:
- Know about personal information we collect and use
- Request access to personal information
- Request correction of inaccurate personal information
- Request deletion of personal information
- Opt out of certain forms of sale or sharing of personal information
- Limit certain uses or disclosures of sensitive personal information where applicable
- Receive equal treatment for exercising privacy rights
We do not sell personal information for monetary consideration.
Where applicable, you may submit a privacy request by contacting us at support@rext.ai.
We don't sell personal information for money. Privacy requests from California residents can also go to support@rext.ai.
12. Marketing and Other Communications
We'll send you transactional and service-related messages, things like account notifications, security alerts, billing updates, and important announcements about the service. These are part of keeping your account running and generally can't be turned off while you have an account with us.
Where the law allows it, we may also send marketing emails about Rext AI, product updates, educational content, or promotions.
13. Children's Privacy
Rext AI is built for businesses, agencies, marketers, publishers, and content teams, not for children. If you believe a child has given us personal information, let us know at support@rext.ai, and we'll take reasonable steps to remove it if that turns out to be the case.
14. Other Websites and Services
You may run into links to third-party websites, services, or integrations while using Rext AI. Those third parties run independently and have their own privacy policies and practices, which we don't control and aren't responsible for. It's worth reviewing their policies before you share anything with them.
15. Business Customers and the Data They Bring In
Businesses and organizations sometimes use Rext AI to process information about their own customers, employees, clients, or other third parties. If that's you, it's on you to make sure you have the right legal basis and permissions to bring that information into Rext AI.
Depending on how the service is being used and what the law requires, Revnix LLC may act as a processor or service provider on your behalf, and business customers may need to enter into additional data processing terms with us where required.
16. Your Responsibilities
Whatever you submit to Rext AI needs to be lawful, and you need to have the rights and permissions to submit it. That means steering clear of sensitive personal information, confidential information, or anyone else's information unless you're properly authorized to share it.
You're also responsible for keeping your account credentials and any connected third-party accounts secure.
17. Changes to This Policy
This policy is introduced by Rext AI, so we have the right to update and changing this policy because of changes in our practices, technology, or the law, but whenever we do, we'll update the date at the top of the page. If a change is significant enough to require notice under the law, we'll let you know through the product, by email, or through another reasonable method.
If you keep using Rext AI after an update takes effect, that means you've acknowledged the new version, subject to applicable law.
