Links to your own articles.

At the outline, Rext AI suggests your published articles on the topic. Each one you keep is linked from the new one.

How it works

  1. 01

    Publish

Internal links come from the articles Rext AI has published from this workspace, at their live address on your site.

  2. 02

    Content Outline

The Internal Links panel lists the ones that match the new article, closest first, each with its title, address and relevance.

  3. 03

    Your choice

Links at 50% relevance or more start selected. Tick or untick any of them before you click Approve and generate.

  4. 04

    Article

Every link you kept is written into the article's text with its own anchor words, not added as a list at the end.

What it doesn't do

  • It suggests only articles Rext AI has published from this workspace, not the other pages of your site.
  • With nothing published yet, the outline shows no internal links.
  • It adds links to the new article only; your older posts stay as they are.

Questions about internal links

Which articles can it link to?

The articles Rext AI has published from the same workspace, at the address they went live at. A draft, a post only saved in WordPress, or a page Rext AI did not publish is not suggested. So the panel fills up as you publish: your first article has no internal links, and each one after it has more to choose from.

How is the relevance worked out?

By comparing the new article's focus keyphrase with the text of each published article. Each one gets a score from 0 to 100%, the panel lists them from the closest down, and the ones at 50% or more are selected for you. The score only orders the suggestions: which links go in is your choice.

Does it change my older posts?

No. The links go into the new article, from its text to your older articles; the older articles are not edited. Each kept link sits in a sentence with its own anchor words, and the article is checked for them before it is finished, so none is dropped or tacked on at the end.
