How it works
- 01
Article
Schedule a finished article from its publish menu with Schedule for Later, and pick the day and the time.
- 02
Calendar
Open Calendar in the sidebar: the month, with each day's scheduled and published articles, in your account's time zone.
- 03
Move or cancel
Drag a scheduled article to another day, or open it to pick a new day or cancel the schedule.
- 04
Board and list
Switch to the board to see every article by its status, or to the list for the month day by day.
What it doesn't do
- Published articles stay on the day they went out; only scheduled ones move.
- The board shows each article's status; dragging a card there doesn't change it.
- Moving or cancelling a schedule needs permission to publish in the workspace.
Questions about the content calendar
Which time zone does the calendar use?
Your account's. The month, the board and the list count days in it, and a scheduled article goes out at the time you picked there. So a post scheduled for Monday morning sits on Monday in every view, whichever device or browser you open the calendar in.
How do I move a scheduled post?
Drag it to another day in the month, with a mouse, a long press on a touch screen, or the keyboard: Space to pick it up, the arrow keys to choose a day, Space to drop it. You can also open the article and pick a new day. Only the date changes, and a move can be undone right after.
What happens when I cancel a schedule?
The article goes back to draft and is not published. It leaves the calendar's month and stays in your content with the rest of your drafts, and you can schedule it again from the article whenever you are ready. Nothing is sent to your site until a new schedule comes due or you publish it.
